Emily Roth (b. 1998, United States) received a B.F.A. in painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design in the spring of 2020. She is a figurative artist with an interest in the ephemeral nature of the human experience. Using traditional oil painting techniques as well as engaging in textiles, Roth seeks to explore our relationship with time and how it affects our behavior, interactions, and passions, as well as the construction and adherence to routine. She has exhibited her work in group exhibitions in New York City, NY and Savannah, Georgia. Roth is living and working in Brooklyn, New York, and continues to expand her skillset and studio practice.
